In partnership with the ADF and the Commonwealth, Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) provides aircraft maintenance and upgrades, component maintenance solutions, technical support, mission-critical infrastructure support and training on some of the most capable surveillance, command, control, and combat platforms in the world.
BDA is looking for a Maintenance Requirements Determination (MRD) Specialist who will join the AH-64E Apache team.
In this role you will support the most modern and capable configuration of the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter. You will be based in Enoggera, Brisbane with the Army customer in an integrated Attack Helicopter System Program Office (AHSPO).
As an MRD Specialist within BDA, you will
* Evaluate engineering and maintenance systems design for logistics supportability including configuration baseline discipline.
* Support engineering, logistics and maintenance teams to optimise the Apache support system.
* Work with configuration management team to coordinate maintenance and production activities and changes.
* Support the maintenance and update of the Apache Logistics Support Model through provision of data.
* Develop supportability data and identifies gaps and initiates resolution to meet support objectives.
* Analyse and develops preliminary task and resource requirements,
* Develop repair level analysis and scheduled maintenance programs, and
* Support the development of life cycle costs
* Perform the role of eMRD and eLSA expert practitioner for the program.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
* 5 years + relevant experience in similar role.
* A superior knowledge of Defence Aviation Safety Regulations.
* Experience using tools such as eMRD and eLSA in the performance of LSA support.
* Experience within the defence or civil aviation sectors as a qualified technician or engineer.
* Meet Defence security and ITAR requirements.
Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
