Overall, the key areas of responsibility include (but not limited to):
- Team Management: Lead and manage our maintenance personnel to ensure the effective delivery of services supporting our manufacturing operation.
- Operational Leadership: Provide day-to-day operational leadership for trades personnel, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Safety Advocate: Lead and drive safe working attitudes and behaviours throughout the Maintenance Department.
- Work Environment: Promote an open, flexible work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Performance Excellence: Drive performance, accountability, and engagement within the Maintenance Department, focusing on building capability.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to food safety and quality requirements.
- Cost Management: Deliver Repair and Maintenance (R&M) costs within budgeted figures.
- Reliability Systems Support: Support best practice asset reliability systems and provide assistance to the Maintenance Team.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous improvement through a CI program, including Root Cause Analyses (RCAs).
- Production Support: Support production and site activities to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Maintenance Planning: Plan maintenance work to align with plant and resource availability.
- Experience: Previous experience in maintenance fitting in a manufacturing setting.
- Working Rights: Full unrestricted working rights to work in Australia.
- Technical Background: Mechanical, or electrical trade background.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership skills to inspire and guide the team.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build effective internal and external working relationships at all levels.
