As we continue to expand, we are currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician. This role is pivotal in ensuring the optimal operation and safety of our customers' sites. Who You Are
- First and foremost, you are a trade qualified painter with solid handyman experiance
- Excellent customer service and communication skills come naturally to you.
- You are a problem-solver who is always on the lookout for ways to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Your self-motivation, attention to detail, and professional demeanour underpin your approach to work.
- Adept at managing your workload and prioritising tasks according to customer needs and deadlines.
- Your ability to maintain effective communication with clients and management sets you apart.
- You take pride in consistently completing tasks on time and achieving excellent results.
- You can travel between customer sites as necessary and can easily adapt to flexible work hours as nessesary
What You'll Do
- Apply your skills in general repairs, preventive maintenance, and site inspections, conducting comprehensive maintenance services and spotting potential improvement tasks.
- Accurately document job details and update progress in job management software daily.
- Interface directly with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with each completed task and spotting opportunities for additional work.
- Efficiently manage your time and tasks, travelling between customer sites as required.
- Become an integral part of our team, helping maintain our strong relationships with customers and ensuring ICS's continued success.
- Keep tools, equipment, and your workspace in top condition, ready for the next task.
- Travel between customer sites as needed, bringing your expertise where it's most required.
What You'll Bring
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within facilities maintenance.
- Extensive experiance painting in a commercial environment
- Experience in a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including minor plumbing, carpentry and electrical work.
- Comfort with using job management software for tracking and documenting tasks.
- Commendable customer-facing skills with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
- A valid Australian driver's license and Australian White Card
- Bonus: Relevant certifications such as EWP Operator Ticket (Yellow Card).
