Maintenance Technician - Automated Facility

Based at our first Australian site in Redbank, Queensland this role will see you join our team of Electro-Mechanical Technicians and Equipment Operators within our brand-new and fully air-conditioned automated distribution centre.

We are now looking for passionate and energetic individuals to join our Maintenance Teams as Maintenance Technicians on a permanent, full-time basis.

Our technicians work rotating shift work (including evenings, weekends, and public holidays).

About you:

• Strong Electrical and/or Mechanical aptitude, (ideally trade qualified)
• A genuine interest in automation and technology, with the aptitude to learn new concepts and procedures.
• Meet the physical requirements including:
• Frequent walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing for long periods of time.
• Working at heights of up to 30 metres (wearing fall-arrest gear and other PPE)
• Lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 25kgs unassisted

Your new role:

Working full time as part of a cross functional team you’ll support daily operations by ensuring that the system is optimised, responding to faults, upskilling operators and consistently seeking continuous improvement opportunities. On any given day this may include:

• Monitoring, operation, fault correction, and housekeeping of automated material handling equipment in a fast-paced production environment
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, and computer systems issues and escalate as appropriate
• Coach and mentor the production team to increase their knowledge
• Effective execution of all maintenance related activities
• Investigate and resolve system material flow issues
• Facilitate continuous improvement activities through broad system knowledge and site-specific enhancements.
