Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician (Carpenter) with a passion for general building maintenance and roof repairs? You should join our team of professionals in Perth. As a Maintenance Technician, your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining and repairing building fabrics, and structures, particularly focusing on roof repairs in the winter months.

• Proven experience in general building maintenance and roof repairs.
• Trade Skills (mandatory) and a Carpentry Trade Certificate (desirable).
• Construction Induction White or Blue Card.
• Valid C-Class Driver's Licence.
• Working Safely at Heights certification current within the last 2 years.
• National Police Clearance.
• Competency using job management software on iPads/tablets.

• HRWL (Forklift and EWP) and Truck Licenses (MR or HR).
• First Aid certification.

• Perform various building maintenance works, including door repairs/replacements, wall/ceiling repairs, roof repairs, gutter replacements, and related tasks to government buildings such as schools, fire stations, correctional facilities, and hospitals
• Rectify building maintenance faults promptly, providing accurate defect reporting and assisting essential buildings to remain operational
• Utilise drawings and building plans (where required) to meet job scope requirements
• Assist estimators with developing fault and minor works scopes
• Comply with all safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Effectively communicate work progress, resource requirements, materials, and concerns to Site Supervisors.
• Utilise Protek 247’s management software to upload relevant site documentation and information.
• Collaborate seamlessly within a team, supporting colleagues to achieve excellence.
• Operate in accordance with company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy in interactions with clients and site personnel.
• Champion health, safety, and risk management practices on-site.
