T-Ports are currently seeking an enthusiastic Maintenance Technician with an unrestricted electrical licence and a can-do attitude to join the maintenance team based at Wallaroo on the Yorke Peninsula SA.

About the role:
The Maintenance Electrician will undertake all required tasks to ensure the efficient, compliant, reliable, and safe handling of product within T-Ports sites. You will be responsible for undertaking electrical maintenance, repairs, validation, installation, testing, tagging, and breakdown activities including marine equipment. This role includes preventative and corrective maintenance on fixed plant and electrical and Mechanical fault-finding, PLC trouble shooting. The ability to work collaboratively and productively in a cross-trade team of electrical, mechanical & marine engineering trades will be critical to your success.
- Full-time permanent role.
- Maintain efficient, proactive, and reliable maintenance systems for all plant, equipment, and assets across T-Ports sites.
- Ensure plant servicing and scheduled maintenance is conducted in a timely & compliant manner, with minimal impact on operational activities.
- Provide assistance, training, and supervision to site personnel to ensure assets are operated in a safe and correct manner to increase efficiencies and maximise throughput.
- Conduct condition monitoring tasks to provide long term reliability of T-Ports plant and equipment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance excellence tasks to further support the reduction in waste product, downtime and enhance our service to our customers.
- Set examples to ensure a positive and proactive maintenance team environment is present.
- Strong focus to work safety in line with T-Ports Safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to be hands-on with bulk handling assets, mobile plant, and marine equipment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Travel between T-Ports sites will be required.
About You:
- Unrestricted electrical licence - Essential
- Current Driver’s Licence – Essential
- Experience using CMMS systems such as SAP or MEX - Advantage
- Working at Heights– Essential or willing to obtain
- Hazardous area installation and repair certification – Advantage
- Experience in a similar role in Agri-business or bulk handling of plant - Advantage
