The Country Chef Bakery Co. is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician – Mechanical to join our team in our purpose-built facility, on the Sunshine Coast.

About This Opportunity
Shift time: Day Shift (6am-2pm)
This is a hands-on technician role, that is primarily responsible for ensuring the continual operation & effectiveness of all Plant & Equipment across the processing facility.
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Ensure an immediate response to issues, breakdowns related of all Plant & Equipment across the processing facility. Coordination with the production team to ensure continuous operations.
- Development and monitoring of routine equipment maintenance with a strong emphasis on preventative maintenance.
- Fault finding, monitoring and maintenance of production equipment.
- Analysing records and identifying opportunities to improve maintenance programs.
- Adhering to all quality, food safety, WH&S and environment policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records in the MEX program.
- Occasional overtime or shift coverage as required.
About You

- A proactive attitude towards learning, problem-solving.
- Experience working in a team-based environment.
- Ability to participate in performance monitoring, commissioning and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Mechanical fitting experience.
- Previous experience in automated food or beverage manufacturing environment, FMCG is highly regarded but not essential.
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems, packaging machines, conveyors, ovens.
- Experience with stainless steel fabrication and TIG welding.
- Experience with the MEX system and/or other CMMS software.
- Exposure to PLC and variable speed drives is also advantageous.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- A passion for innovation and a keen eye for detail.
- Valid and current C Class Driver’s License.
- Forklift License desirable but not essential.
