About the role
Enjoy working with all new state of the art production facilities and innovative computer design software to enable the creation of one off or multiple joinery items quickly and efficiently. This role will suit you if you crave variety and creativity in your day-to-day work, enjoy a boss to work alongside you who inspires and mentors you and is genuinely a very down to earth person that you can enjoy a bit of banter with throughout the day. You will part of the entire process from start to finish and enjoy seeing the fruits of your labour
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage completion of tasks, projects within specified timelines
- Review and assess your work to ensure the highest of quality, deliver defect free work orders
- Craft custom joinery items, including cabinets, shelves, doors, and the list goes on.
- Interpret and work from detailed blueprints, drawings, and client specifications.
- Conformance to customer/client specifications, company standards and regulation requirements.
- Ensure safety and environmental requirements are met, contribute to the maintenance, organisation and cleanliness of the state of the art workshop.
Skills & experience
- Certificate III in Carpentry and Joinery
- Experience in the production and manufacturing methodologies of joinery can use CNC machine and edge bander
- Demonstrated skills in reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Strong skills in numeracy and literacy along with basic computer skills
- Self-motivated, good communication skills
- Attention to detail and excellent problem solving abilities and time management
- Current Drivers Licence, and white card
