Reporting directly to the CEO, this role requires a skilled outlook, solid finance background with intuition, enthusiasm, attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

• Experience working in a finance accounting team with a good understanding of current accounting standards and practices and compliance requirements.
• Strong project management experience.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, able to inspire, motivate and influence team members.
• Resilience and persistence, with ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
• Ability to think critically and creatively to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Must have extensive MYOB experience.
• Experience in Manufacturing & Importing environment.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience.

Scope of the Role: but not limited to

• Maintaining of internal computerised financial systems MYOB Account Right Live.
• Provide & Analyse Daily Financials Snapshot & Sales/Order reports to Leadership Team.
• Examining operating costs, income, and expenditure for cashflow analysis, forecast & reporting.
• Audit Preparation & Processing of Payroll, Superannuation, and compliance work.
• General Ledger Maintenance.
• Landed costing of Imported Items. 
• Inventory management.
• Conducting regular financial audits and ensuring the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and the compliance with statutory requirements.
• Effective collaboration with internal & external departments/companies.
• Preparation of Financial Statements & Data Reports for presentation to management and statutory bodies as required.
• Audit of Quarterly BAS-Monthly IAS-Monthly SRO obligations.
• Preparation of Budgets.
• Preparation of Monthly Financials and processing of appropriate transactions, showing analysis & comparison year on year.
• Review & Analyse past account cash movements and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintaining existing procedures, Implementing & disseminating Accounting Policies & Procedures.
• Continuous Professional Development.
