Your new role

As the management accountant in the Newcastle manufacturing business you will be responsible for delivering financial and management accounting support for the business unit; you will support the commercial and strategic activities of the team.

You will

Manage general ledger control, including sub-ledgers, and running month end close
Ensure Internal Controls are properly maintained within area of responsibility
Manager Capital expenditure appraisals and reporting
Manage fixed asset register maintenance
Deliver production/cost accounting
Deliver financial and management reporting requirements
Prepare and provide input to forecasting and budgeting reporting/analysis
Collect and maintain sustainability data
Co-ordinate relevant tasks with other finance personnel

What you'll need to succeed

This is a role for a management accountant who wants to be part of a cohesive team delivering on time and robust information to support a successful business.

You are someone who enjoys integrating with the whole business and you take an interest in operational activities.

To succeed in this role you will possess
Commerce/Accounting degree with relevant professional qualification (CPA/CA)
Demonstrated experience in production accounting experience with a medium to large manufacturing business
Power BI report writing experience will be an advantage
Advanced excel skills
