AddressOur Client is one of Australasia's largest providers of boutique accommodation, conference and wedding venue, day spas and wineries, is seeking a Management Accountant to boost their finance team.
The duties would include not be limited to the following:
- Obtain and analyse financial information to advise on problems and suggest improvements
- Maintain all accounting procedures and policies in line with accounting standards
- Oversee End of Month/Year End processes and reconciliations to meet reporting priorities
- Ensure integration and accountability for all finance systems
- Preparation of business unit budgets to support business objectives
- Prepare forecasts to assist business planning and decision-making
- Compliance with statutory obligations
- Support business units to realise their financial objectives
- Undertake financial risk assessment and advise on ways to minimise risks
- Liaise and work with external auditors
- Implement internal audit function
Your Skills and Experience would include
- Bachelor degree in accountancy related qualifications, or at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Excellent experience as Management Accountant
- Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
- Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting
- Excellent knowledge or risk analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Good working knowledge of finance systems
- Aptitude in financial analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Organisational and leadership skills
Your Remuneration
Salary range $68,000 - $78,000 per annum + superannuation.
