What you'll be doingThe position of ACAT Manager for ISLHD Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) is responsible for the operational management of the ISLHD Northern Aged Care Assessment Team and provides leadership to the Clinical Team Leaders and Carunya Day Centre.The position will provide support and advice to the Network Community Aged Care Manager on changes to legislative requirements, policy implementation, operational and professional issues within the ISLHD ACAT, including performance against mandatory KPIs, financial management and budget development; development and implementation of technology/information capability for ISLHD ACAT, including the implementation of emerging Commonwealth technology requirements.What we can offer youThe Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) provides you with an excellent career choice with many rewarding experiences. Applicants are encouraged to review the following information on Applying for a position within NSW Health at:SELECTION CRITERIA: * Post graduate qualifications in health care/Aged Care management or relevant demonstrated Aged Care services management experience.

• Demonstrated experience in managing clinical teams with an emphasis on Aged Care service provision and ability to develop, direct and lead a multidisciplinary team/s in the achievement of organizational goals.
• Extensive working knowledge of the Aged Care Act 1997 and its associated Principles and Guidelines for the Aged Care Assessment Program, the NSW Guardianship Tribunal processes and NSW Protocols on Abuse of Older Persons.
• Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills and an ability to collect and evaluate data and produce high quality written reports.
• Demonstrated high level skills in building and sustaining collaborative relationships and networking with a range of stakeholders including government agencies, community and residential Aged Care service providers, health professionals, clients and families.
• Demonstrated competence in the use of electronic information management systems and proven ability to initiate, lead and complete quality improvement activities and service evaluation processes.
• Current NSW Drivers License and willingness to travel for work.
