The Opportunity - Manager BGS Government International IT Business Success

As the Manager BGS Government International IT Business Success, you will lead a team of IT professionals responsible for partnering with BGS Government Services business leaders in either Boeing Defense United Kingdom or Boeing Defense Australia to strategize, coordinate and execute the breadth of Information Technology initiatives that support transformational and sustaining IT capabilities.

Responsible for development and maintenance of relationship, and partnership with a breadth of stakeholders. Responsible for creation, alignment and attainment of IT strategic goals and objectives that directly support the business. Develops and communicates IT roadmaps relative to the business, and drives execution of systems consolidation, sunset of legacy environments and introduction of new capability in a fashion that is aligned and coordinated with execution of the business. Responsible for coordination and integration with core IT teams across all IT product divisions to realize value of ongoing initiatives, including Digital Transformation, subsidiary integration, cloud migration, and DevSecOps.

Continuously improves unit cost performance, introducing new IT capability and innovation while operating within the Information Technology organization budget. Lead and develop the IT Business Success team responsible for executing the above responsibilities.

You will need to have:
IT degree (or equivalent) and typically 7-10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated knowledge contemporary IT Infrastructure used across a large and complex multi-national business environment
Success leading managers and individual contributors in a multi-national setting

Applicants must be Australian to meet defence security requirements. An NV1 Security Clearance will be required.
