Position Profile: The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) are seeking a motivated and dynamic candidate to join our research team at Perth Children's Hospital.
The successful applicant will provide research governance oversight, including the implementation of the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework. You will lead and implement policy and improvements to the implementation of best practice research governance.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing the National Clinical Trial Governance Framework to evaluate and develop CAHS systems, policies and processes as needed to meet necessary standards.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures for the provision and evaluation of the research governance service and other related services/programs.
- Developing and implementing a framework to educate and inform researchers of the relevant research governance guidelines and requirements.
- Developing relevant policy and procedures regarding the conduct, monitoring and audit of clinical research at CAHS.
- Developing and implementing clearly written operational/service plans and ensuring staff participation in planning process.
