procurement and tender processes, including contract preparation and renewals, as well as managing
major purchases. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate
contractual documentation, adhering to policies, procedures, statutory and legislative requirements.

What you’ll do:
As a Manager of Contract and Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in delivering quality procurement
services.
• Administer the tender process to ensure efficient and accurate contractual documentation
• Review all purchase orders for compliance prior to release
• Manage and maintain the City’s procurement portals
• Regularly review improvements to the tendering and contract processes
• Process insurance claims and maintain an insurance asset register
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, ensuring personal safety at work
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Manager of Contract & Procurement role will bring a wealth of experience
in procedural, operational, and legislative requirements in the application of tender documentation.
• Possess a current satisfactory National Police Clearance
• Hold a current WA “C” Class driver’s license
• Have knowledge of procedural, operational and legislative requirements in the application of
tender documentation
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, negotiation skills, conflict resolution skills, and
interpersonal skills
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal clients, external
stakeholders, consultants, and contractors
• Proven ability to work autonomously with initiative
