Manager for West End based, nationally reaching photo lab

Streets Imaging has an incredible following within the photography world. Our clients love us and the work we produce for them! We produce high end, true photographic prints, products and wall art to Australia's best professional school photographers, wedding photographers, commercial photographers and more. 

Our team are diverse group, but are all passionate about what they do and in turn are loved by our customers. We are fanatical about great customer service and giving the utmost attention to detail. We are a fun team and a provide a great working environment. 

You will be responsible for making sure our various departments are working efficiently and hitting order deadlines. We have a team of 6 staff working in their own departments, which all have their own processes, timelines and equipment. This may mean you need to fill extra required capacity in these roles.

Ultimately as the team leader, you will need to set the example on how we reach our amazing level of customer service. This means speaking with clients on the phone, via email and in person.

It is a fast paced environment with expectations to have work turned around accurately within a certain timeframe. Juggling competing priorities, understanding our technical processes and reviewing our performances are critical to success in this position.

This is a full time position, you would be required 8am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

We are looking for a person who is enthusiastic, passionate and a team leader. You must be able to work quickly and with a very high degree of accuracy - a very keen eye for detail is a must and this should be proven in your previous roles. Applicants should have possess the following skills and experiences:

• Experience managing teams of up to 10 staff
• Technical problem solving skills
• A customer service focused attitude
• Excellent time management

While all our team members are experienced and adept enough in their own field to train the successful candidate, preference will be given to candidates with any or all of the following:

• Photo lab experience
• Framing and mounting experience
• Photography and related experience
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
