Macmahon is currently seeking an experienced HSEQT Manager to join the King of the Hills team. This position will be on a 7:7 roster, FIFO. The purpose of this role is to lead the HSEQT Department and effectively apply specialist HSEQT skills and knowledge to provide strategic and functional direction and leadership to the HSEQT team on site and all stakeholders.
About the role
- Comply with company and client policies, procedures, standards, and processes.
- Establish and drive a high standard of HSEQT performance across the project.
- Monitor compliance of HSEQT management plans and internal and legislative requirements.
- Investigate, or assist in the investigation of all workplace incidents.
- Regularly liaise with stakeholders on all company related activities, including the monitoring and prevention of any adverse impacts on the surrounding environment or communities.
About you
- Diploma – Work Health and Safety (minimum).
- Cert IV Training and Assessment TAE40116 or equivalent.
- 10 years’ experience in management/leadership role.
- Extensive experience in a HSEQ and training role within the underground/surface mining industry.
- Excellent investigative and analytical skills (ICAM qualification).
- Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator qualifications.
