·       Clerk Grade 11/12

·       Full-time, temporary – up to 31 December 2026

·       Close to Wynyard station & hybrid work arrangements available

 

About the role

 

 

The Manager, Operations and Process Support is responsible for providing operational leadership and supporting teams within the Curriculum Program Operations Directorate with process improvement activities for Curriculum Reform implementation.

The role will work closely with NESA project, stakeholder engagement and workstream teams, with a focus on ensuring efficient Operations and Processes are leading to quality support for the delivery of the Curriculum Reform program.

At NESA we are presently focused on an exciting, transformational program of curriculum reform, and this role is a great opportunity to support the work of passionate educators.

 

 

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:

 

 

·       supporting effective operations by leading people in the review of processes for efficiency gains to ensure the delivery of support functions in the Program Operations Directorate.

·       providing advice and expertise to stakeholders to support Curriculum Reform activities.

·       identifying and/or contribute to business improvement change consistent with key business metrics.

·       proactively act to identify and mitigate risks to the delivery of the Curriculum Reform through ineffective processes and/or procedures.

·       contributing to the development and implementation of operational improvements to ways of working.

·       providing high level operational advice to senior leadership that supports informed decision making and business planning by the senior leadership team.

·       working with the Director, Curriculum Program Operations and senior team to embed a culture of continuous improvement.

·       collaborating, communicating, and working effectively with a range of NESA units and branches to progress and resolve issues.
