The Manager, Peer Mentoring Programs is responsible for the design and delivery of impactful peer academic programs that enable students to thrive academically and progress through their studies. In 2024, this involves the Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) and the Peer Learning Coaching (PLC) programs.This role will transform UOW's approach to peer-based academic support programs, ensuring that they are inclusive, accessible, and effective in enhancing students' learning progress. The Manager, Peer Mentoring Programs works in close collaboration with faculty and staff across the institution, with a particular focus on designing cohort-specific programs that target at-risk student groups, all while adhering to inclusive learning design principles and embracing students as partners in the process.The ideal candidate holds a relevant tertiary qualification, with a strong background in education, and has demonstrated expertise in program design, team management, and effective stakeholder collaboration. They possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, a dedication to continuous improvement based on student feedback and data, and a comprehensive understanding of current and emerging technologies in higher education.
