  • Salary range: $139,787 - $161,663 per annum + super

About the Role:

The Department of Customer Service (DCS) is a service provider, regulator and central agency of government.

An opportunity has become available for a Manager Subsidence Risk Evaluation & Regulation to join the team in Subsidence Advisory NSW.

This role will see you apply your management and technical skills within a small team of specialists leading the technical division in order to make Subsidence Advisory NSW great.

You will lead and manage a team of engineers and mapping experts in their assessment of subsidence matters across NSW. This role involves regulating the mine subsidence function in processing development applications and conditions to ensure compliance and best practice is adhered to.

You will also have the opportunity to lead research projects to meet both current and future needs of the community.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience in leading and managing a successful team of technical staff
  • Strong communication skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Structural/Civil/Mining/Geotechnical Engineering
  • Proven experience in engineering, mining, building or construction
  • Full NSW drivers' license is essential
