Early Childhood Service Teacher/Manager
We have a very rare opportunity to join Honeybears Kankinya as a service manager.
We are currently seeking a very knowledgeable, motivated and enthusiastic service manager to join our team at Honeybears. Your role will be pivotal in leading a service of dedicated early childhood professionals.
Your role will be to manage a service whilst also teaching and mentoring within the rooms.
Our management team consists of highly qualified and experienced educators, all working towards the same goal, providing exceeding services for our community. Our management team consists of our owner/service Director, executive manager and service managers in each of our three centres.
This management position will be based at Honeybears Kankinya.
Honeybears Kankinya (opened November 23) and is a 38 place, purpose-built and recently renovated, centre for children aged 0-5 years.
Our team of educators are highly qualified and experienced in Early Childhood Education, which is an exemplary working environment for the successful applicant.
All Honeybears services are beautiful, Reggio inspired, natural environments that are well maintained and resourced. Our staff:child ratios are very high allowing for high-quality interactions with children. This, combined with daily contracted cleaners, ensures that our educators are spending more quality time with the children and developing the program.
Educator Requirements:
We are seeking a full-time manager with the following attributes:
- Completed or working towards a Bachelor of Teaching or Education
- Current Working with Children's Check.
- ACECQA approved First Aid Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years experience in the Early Childhood industry.
- Experience in developing and sustaining a QIP and strong understanding of service compliance with licensing requirements and health and safety regulations.
- Prior experience working in a leadership position, displaying excellent organisation and management skills.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and positively with families, children and educators.
- Neat and professional presentation.
- Friendly and caring personality.
