The Role:
As a Mandarin Teacher in our Early Childhood Education and Care Centres, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering engaging Mandarin language programs for children aged 0-5 years. Supported by our experienced team of educators, you'll have the opportunity to create a diverse and inclusive curriculum that sparks joy and curiosity in young learners.
You will work across our 4 ECEC locations in Barton, Forrest and Narrabundah to deliver a Mandarin language program designed and delivered by YOU>
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement age-appropriate Mandarin language curriculum aligned with Early Childhood Education standards.
- Conduct interactive language classes using storytelling, games, songs, and hands-on activities to facilitate language learning.
- Collaborate with educators to integrate Mandarin language into broader educational experiences.
- Foster strong communication with parents/guardians to share children's progress and encourage parental involvement in language development.
- Provide additional support to children with diverse linguistic backgrounds or learning challenges.

Requirements:
- Degree qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent. (working towards will be considered)
- Fluency in Mandarin and English, with clear verbal communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of Education and Care Services National Regulations.
- Positive and nurturing attitude towards children's growth and development.
- Valid Working with Vulnerable People Card and current First Aid Certificate.
