Form of workWe require enthusiastic Maintenance Technician for our new Cage Free egg farm at Teesdale, Victoria 3328 and our Poultry farms at Lethbridge and Winchelsea.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Providing effective and efficient preventative and breakdown maintenance.
- Fitting or repairing mechanical machines, instruments or appliances
- Operate various on site machinery.
- Assist with other Poultry farm General duties when required.
Your Requirements:
- Have a fitter and turner equivalent trade qualification and post-trade experience of at least 2 years, ideally in Poultry or other Intensive farming.
- Having Electrcal Maintenance qualifications and experience would be an advantage.
- Understand work planning and scheduling procedures
- Be physically fit and healthy
- Be honest and reliable
- Be able to work with limited supervision.
- Must have valid working visa. We do not offer Visa sponsorship.
- Have a strong work ethic.
- Have driver's licence and access to own reliable transportation (essential).
- Be available for flexible working hours, and able to work weekends and public holidays when required.
- Having other licences such as truck, forklift, etc. would be an advantage.
- Due to biosecurity, candidates are not permitted to have any form of poultry, birds and/or pigs at home or be in contact with.
- This position will provide a pathway to future promotion for a high calibre applicant.
- Salary Package Negotiable, depending on Qualifications and Experience.
