Mort & Co Fertilisers operates a unique facility, employing innovative technology to produce environmentally friendly, carbon-based product. This state-of-the-art facility is the first of its kind in Australia. Based at Grassdale, the plant repurposes excess feedlot manure to supply sustainable, industry leading products to all types of Australian farms.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Having proven the demand for our products, we are seeking Manufacturing Operators to support the expansion of our existing team to a 24/7 shift pattern in the future. This valuable role includes:
- Operating plant and machinery for production and packaging line equipment
- Measure and grade raw materials
- Identify and report equipment faults
- Active involvement in reducing risks and hazards, and improving quality
- General housekeeping and site duties with a strong focus on Workplace Health & Safety
ABOUT YOU
- Relevant experience in manufacturing, material handling, waste management or industrial composting, with specific experience in plant operations and packaging equipment
- Your HRW (Forklift) licence will be highly regarded
- Your machinery experience includes loaders and forklifts
- You have the ability to understand manufacturing processes
- You’re responsible, reliable and a great team player, with a strong commitment to working safely
- You have a willingness to learn, a passion for problem solving and great communication skills
