Form of workWe are seeking a Pharmacist with outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills who demonstrates a willingness to develop and maintain their knowledge. This role is permanent, full-time position will be based initially in Pharmacy Manufacturing for the first 12 months, then will revert to a rotational role.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and experienced Pharmacist to join the Pharmacy team at Western Health.
Key Responsibilities
- To ensure patient outcomes are optimized by working to achieve the best Quality Use of Medicines
- Support prescribers and patients to maximize clinical benefits of drugs and minimize unwanted reactions
- Minimise treatment costs by optimizing drug prescribing and supply
- Provide expert clinical pharmacy advice relating to Pharmacy Manufacturing Services
- Actively participate and support educational and operational activities of the department
To be Successful in this Role, you:
- Hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent
- Are eligible for general registration with AHPRA
- Have prior experience in providing aseptic manufacturing services
