About the role
An exciting opportunity has come available for a Graduate to start their career within the Biotechnology Industry. Our client is a renowned Biotechnology company that specialise in the manufacturing of Allografts for Surgical procedures. They are currently looking for a talented Graduate to join their Manufacturing team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for producing high-quality human tissue grafts whilst adhering to quality standards. You will learn to work under Good Manufacturing Practice standards alongside a dynamic team of technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture, clean, cut, and package allografts.
- Assemble, disassemble, inspect, and monitor equipment and instrumentation.
- Prepare sterile work areas and supplies for processing.
- Observe environmental conditions and report deficiencies.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of allograft specifications.
- Maintain a full stock inventory.
- Maintain clean working conditions within and outside the clean room pod.
Requirements:
- BSc Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Biology or similar
- Experience working in a fast-Paced environment.
- Experience in maintaining WHS standards.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to work well in a team environment with excellent communication skills.
- Must have a drivers licence.
