Guji Ethiopian Kitchen is looking for 2x Market Stall Assistants to support our presence at various farmers markets on the weekends. We're currently at Carlton Farmers Market, Bulla Bohemian Market and soon to be more.
You'll be starting bright & early and assisting with the set-up and pack down of the marquee and stall set-up. Farmers markets generally kick-off at 8-9AM and end between 1-3PM.
During the shift you will greet customers, take orders and plate up the dishes to serve our customers.
We're looking for someone who has an understanding of Ethiopian or African food in general. Speaking Amharic is a plus but not required. You will need to feel comfortable chatting to customers. Farmers markets generally have a relaxed vibe and we enjoy educating our customers about the cuisine when its not too busy.
This is WEEKEND work only at this time on a CASUAL basis.
