The OpportunityAs the Marketing and Member Engagement Manager, you’ll have an exceptional opportunity to spearhead and influence the trajectory of Dietitians Australia’smarketing, campaigns, and communications landscape, steering the organisation towards greater success and impact.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute the overarching marketing plan in line with Dietitians Australia’s strategic plan
- Coordinate and oversee development, implementation and evaluation of Marketing and Member Engagement campaigns and activities
- Coordinate and oversee digital marketing including website, social media, analytics, community platform optimisation and weekly member emails
- Develop and execute the Member Engagement strategy
- Coordinate and oversee development, implementation, and evaluation of the member survey
- Coordinate the University presentation schedule of events
- Develop and execute the brand strategy
- Oversee incoming advertising policies and procedures
- Manage corporate or non-corporate partnerships
- Works closely with internal stakeholders and Dietitians Australia portfolios on proactive external and Member communications (e.g. Parliamentary Friends of Nutrition events and government relations activities)
- Work closely with external stakeholders and partners on mutual marketing programs where co-branding exists or is required
You will have over 10 years’ experience in a marketing management role with tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, public relations, and/or journalism.
- Qualifications as a dietitian – highly desirable
- You will have demonstrated experience leading a team of 4+ Marketing and communications professionals
- Demonstrated experience in a marketing management role liaising with high level internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with budget management, and the management and implementation of complex projects
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in working within the not-for-profit sector or for a membership organisation (desirable but not essential)
- Practical experience developing and delivering strategic communications plans
- Ability to work at a senior level, autonomously and as part of a leadership team, with limited supervision
- Salary range of $120k – $140k + 11% super
