The Opportunity
Location: Geelong, VIC,
Full-time (38 hrs p/week)
We are looking for a talented and digitally savvy Marketing & Brand Coordinator who is hungry to learn, grow and make this role their own. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the product development and sales team, you will be contributing to existing marketing programs, whilst assisting in the development of new initiatives that align with our brands and company goals.
This role revolves around creating support services to the sales team with the effective and creative launch of product and sales collateral.
You will be a natural relationship builder and communicator, and already have a great understanding of all aspects of the digital marketing mix, including social and content development.
Responsibilities
- Design all digital and printed collateral: launch packs, EDMs, Sampling, price list catalogues, retailer tool kits, product videos
- Roll-out product launches, promotions and brand awareness programs with retailers & sales team
- Social media content creation and coordination, across all relevant platform
- Group website content management: new products, blogs, content improvement, SEO
- Sales team training, on how to use all marketing collateral in the best possible way
- Sales team support to maximise the use of their cameras/videos/Ipads/Laptops
- Sales team support for customer reviews (reports, product presentations, flyers)
- Event management: trade fairs, webinars, in house trend&design events
Experience and Key Personal Qualities
- 3 years’ experience in successfully implementing Marketing communication activities such as product launches, social media campaigns, events, seasonal promotions.
- Ability to work with a Content Management System & maintain websites (preferred experience with Avenue/Pronto/Wordpress)
- 2 years’ experience in a role requiring graphic design skills, to create brand collateral (photoshop & Illustrator), for both print & digital.
- Experience in copywriting & content creation
- Impeccable time management and project management skills
- Ability to communicate daily, and with speed with sales manager, sales reps, product developers and general manager
- Tech Savvy
- Process driven and highly organised, with the ability to work without close supervision
- Proven track record of planning and driving product launches or marketing campaigns
- Ability to prioritise and balance multiple projects, especially in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- If you are handy with a DSLR camera, it will be a bonus!
