Marketing Co-ordinator (Football & Community)

Full Time – 38 hrs p/w

The Holman Barnes Group (HBG) operate three highly respected Registered Clubs in NSW and are the major shareholders of the Western Suburbs Magpies Rugby League Football Club  (Wests Magpies), and the Wests Tigers Rugby League Football Club. 

Established in 1908, Wests Magpies is a proud NSWRL Foundation Club alongside North Sydney, Eastern Suburbs, South Sydney, Newtown, Glebe, Newcastle, Cumberland and Balmain.

HBG’s passionate support for the Wests Magpies and other rugby league and sporting interests contributes significantly to a vibrant community.    

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Co-ordinator to champion our beloved Wests Magpies as well as our diverse and evolving Community Engagement Program.

Based at our Head Office located in the inner city Sydney suburb of Ashfield, key responsibilities for this role include:-

• Implementation of sound multi- media objectives across the Football Club and relative sporting entities  
• The organisation and delivery of communication across the Football Club's media platforms  
• Implementation of marketing and advertising initiatives to help drive and uphold the organisations high profile  
• Deliver excellence in graphic design and visual production for internal and external use
• Deliver excellence in web design and production for internal and external use
• Provide support across the groups digit marketing efforts
• Develop press and media releases that highlight our company’s achievements, promotions, events and other noteworthy developments  
• Tracking and reporting outcomes of projects 
• Building and maintaining relationships across a diverse range of Sponsors
• Overseeing, co-ordinating and execution of game day operations and other community events
