About the role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager ready for a new challenge.
You will lead and inspire our Marketing team to maximise marketing and branding opportunities for Red Cross, driving revenue growth and building strong engagement with our supporters.
You will be responsible for leading the development of 3 yearly strategic rolling marketing plans for implementation through Comms, Fundraising, First Aid and Retail teams.
Your team will lead the positioning of the Red Cross brand, leveraging insights, brand health metrics and strategies to win the hearts and minds of current and prospective supporters.
What you will bring
- Proven track record in leading and managing a team to deliver complex projects
- Substantial skills and experience in marketing, campaign and brand strategy or closely aligned commercial function
- Commercial acumen, delivering business results through project management, external agency management, strong networking and leadership
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and proven ability to build an innovation funnel
- Outstanding project management skills and experience multiple projects in a large, complex organisation
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into compelling and focussed brand positioning messages that deliver results
- Understanding of corporate business planning and strategy, strong negotiating and influencing skills
- Ability to work autonomously and a passion and energy for building brands and talent
