About this role
The Manager Stakeholder Relations and Engagement overseesvarious functions including stakeholder engagement and partnershipmanagement. They provide high quality leadership and advice, aswell as hands-on expertise, in ensuring external stakeholders aremeaningfully engaged to support delivery of the Department’sobjectives. The role requires a high degree of political acumen,leading a team of specialists to deliver a coordinated, effectiveand efficient service on often complex and sensitive work. TheManager ensures resources are deployed in line with departmentpriorities and that the team operates in a dynamic, flexible mannerto provide timely advice to the Minister, CE and Department.Working to the Director, External Relations as part of the ExternalRelations leadership team, the Manager is able work concurrentlyacross multiple workstreams to quickly identify engagement risksand opportunities, think strategically and influence outcomes.
Qualifications
Essential: An appropriate higher education qualification in arelevant discipline or equivalent experience relevant tostakeholder engagement.
Desirable: Relevant experience in the education sector anddemonstrable knowledge and insight on current and relevant issuesacross the sector.
Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department forHuman Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior tobeing employed which is required to be renewed every five yearsbefore expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN–EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect -Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course orthe online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to beupdated every three years.

Remuneration:
MAS3: $125,970 per annum plus superannuation
