Are you an enthusiastic Remedial Massage Therapist who would love to work and learn alongside a fun and professional team of Massage Therapists and other allied health practitioners? If so, PhysioWorks Sandgate has a fantastic opportunity for you as a Remedial Massage Therapist.

Caseload: The role will involve assessing diverse patient needs and applying appropriate treatment for the individual. There is already a steady massage caseload within the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a private practice setting
- Manage and build on an existing caseload
- Provide high-quality remedial massage therapy to clients, tailored to their individual needs and preferences.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' areas of concern and develop personalised treatment plans.
- Utilise a variety of massage techniques to address musculoskeletal issues, reduce pain, and improve mobility.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and techniques to maintain the benefits of massage therapy.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Build relationships with local referrers
- Provide a holistic approach to client care
- Demonstrate a commitment to improving your knowledge and clinical skills
About You
To be eligible for the role, the candidate must hold a Diploma qualification in remedial massage therapy and be fully recognised by all health fund provides. The clinic will provide a modern massage room, full reception support, and actively promote the candidate’s massage service to its existing database.
The position is open for part-time, full-time, or contract work, depending on the preference of the successful candidate. We are ideally seeking a Remedial Massage Therapist who can work a full week (up to 40 massages) but will also consider part-time applicants.
Additionally, you possess:
- Proven experience in providing remedial massage therapy, preferably in a clinical or wellness setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning

PhysioWorks has a remedial and sports injury bias, which provides Massage Therapists with an abundance of our clients requiring their massage care.
