Your Role
- Providing impeccable service to meet the expectations of our guests
- Have a strong and thorough knowledge of all products used, treatments and services offered by the Spa
- Conduct soft tissue body massages of the muscles, tendons and ligaments to assist in healing
- Administer treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation and relieve muscle tension
- Utilise a range of massage techniques to rebalance and relieve the body
- Apply a variety of massage therapies to release unwanted stress, restoring the body into total relaxation
- Use aids such as essential oils and aromatherapies to assist recovery
- Ensure sufficient stocks of appropriate linen, robes, and slippers are available at all times and arrange laundering as required
- Keep all internal and external areas of the Spa clean, tidy and hygienic
- Ability to perform 5 or more massages per day.
About You
You are a true professional and strive to excel in your career. You understand the prestige of being a member of the Spa team, will have and believe you have the skill, talent and attitude to be the best of the best.
You will also have:
- Minimum of 2 years Luxury Spa experience
- Impeccable grooming and presentation
- Excellent time management skills & ability to adapt & personalise treatments to guest's concerns
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and great problem solving skills
- Use initiative and proactive and positive attitude to assist team members to ensure operations run smoothly
- Diploma in Massage Therapy
- Certification in Deep Tissue and/or Remedial Massage
- A good understanding of spa culture, and the health and wellbeing industry
- Training in Sodashi and LaGaia (preferred)
- Current Open Driver Licence
