We are seeking an ICT Master Scheduler for our mining client based in Brisbane CBD. This contact which runs until 01/07/23. The ideal candidate will provide key support by developing and maintaining detailed programme schedules to plan, evaluate and support individual projects and supervise critical paths of the core programme pipeline.
Responsibilities
Understand and take ownership of the Portfolio and Program Master schedule and maintain it in all required systems
Identify schedule conflict, assist with prioritization, and assist to maximise the capability of the Delivery Teams across the Hub
Responsible for consistency of project planning, setup and tracking across projects
Coach and train program/projects manager to optimize their scheduling and planning effort
Support data quality and project performance (cost, schedule, quality) within allocated projects
Oversee portfolio/program/project plans, schedules, and estimates for all allocated projects
Responsible for tracking project portfolio schedule, commitment, team capacity and demand
Contribute to Project Delivery process improvement
Work with Senior Suppliers to address key schedule, delivery and quality issues and risks
Maintenance of project planning and tracking toolset to ensure efficiency and streamline processes
Required Skills
Experience developing a master schedule from multiple projects and defining critical paths and burn down charts
Strong communication skills to develop and maintain relationships with Delivery Managers, Senior Suppliers and Stakeholders
