The role: As the Master Scheduler / Planner, you will develop and maintain detailed plans and schedules to capture all components of a complex program that includes infrastructure and applications deployments. You will provide expert advice on planning and scheduling to senior project and clinical stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects and ensure all aspects of project timelines are accurately captured and baselined. Other key responsibilities include: Provide expertise and advice on planning and scheduling to ensure the optimum delivery of programs/projects. Facilitate planning workshops to ensure proper planning is completed and interdependencies are identified. Ensure all aspects of the project's timelines are accurately captured and baselined. Ensure schedules are aligned with best practices for project schedule, GAO Schedule Assessment Guide or DCMA 14-Point Schedule Assessment. Evaluate project schedule progress and performance to identify problem areas and advise possible corrective actions to ensure on time delivery. Map and maintain interdependency linkages to ensure consideration of logic and mutual exclusivity in portfolio selection and portfolio risk during deliver. Provide proactive strategic reporting on the status of the resource pool including net capacity and demand, upcoming skill gaps, over-allocations, and the impact on resourcing of delays in projects. Manage and report on performance against agreed specialised work packages and schedules. Is this opportunity for you?To be successful in the role, you will have extensive experience using scheduling tools, preferably MS Project, and high-level knowledge of planning, scheduling, resource, and financial management. Your eye for detail will assist you in identifying weaknesses in scheduling design and setup as well as risk, issue, and constraint reporting. Your exceptional written and verbal communication skills will enable you to influence and build positive relationships with stakeholders. Furthermore, you will be confident facilitating planning workshops (including agile planning) to assess team objectives and interdependencies across the programs and projects. Recent experience working on large transformation programs in the private or Government sectors is highly regarded.
