Our client is an independent boys' school from Prep to Year 12 located in the beautiful Brisbane suburb of Manly West, Queensland. Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective Mathematics lessons for secondary school students
- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the educational standards and requirements
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal growth of each student
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to support the broader school community
Skills Required:
- Current Queensland College of Teachers registration (or eligibility to apply)
- Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialisation in Mathematics or a related field
- Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level
- Ability to teach Maths Methods
- Strong knowledge of contemporary teaching strategies and curriculum development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for education
