The Kewpie Group is an iconic family-owned South Burnett business that has been trading in the local area since 1968 across a diverse range of rural interests including the piggery industry.
The opportunities currently being offered are at their Leyton Park mating and farrowing facility approximately a 25-minute drive to Kingaroy.

The Duties:
Reporting to the Farm Manager, responsibilities will be mainly within the MATING SHED and include:
- Genetics and breeding management.
- Heat detection.
- Artificial Insemination.
- Pregnancy testing
- Pre-farrowing vaccinations
- Consistent monitoring of animals.
- Organising animals for various treatments.
- Maintaining general hygiene and cleanliness of the facility.
- Feeding, monitoring and caring for livestock.
- Adhering to strict quarantine control.
- Displaying considerable judgement and initiative within established principles and practices.
- Mating shed experience preferred, although applications will be considered from those with industry experience and a desire to develop the relevant skills.
- A commitment to upholding the highest levels of animal welfare and biosecurity standards.
- Sound communication skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- The ability to receive and follow directions.
- The ability to work unsupervised.
- A preparedness to work scheduled weekend overtime and on other occasions as demands require.
