Headstart Early Learning Centre Croydon is offering an exceptional candidate an Assistant Educator role within our fun-loving, supportive team. You will be a passionate, dedicated professional who strives to build and maintain an outstanding learning environment for our children.
This role is Part-Time working 30 hours per week.
About Us
Our learning spaces offer a variety of engaging environments including natural resources and interactive whiteboards to encourage exploration through play. At the heart of our child care centre in Croydon is our longstanding team of early childhood educators and teachers with some team members at the centre for over 5 years. Our team of passionate and qualified early childhood teachers and educators are dedicated to ensuring every child feels safe, nurtured, and inspired throughout their early education journey.
At capacity our centre caters for up to 33 children with operating hours from 6am to 6pm.

About You
- You will hold an ACECQA approved Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
- An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A current Working with Children Check
- First Aid certificate
