Mc Driver - Tarcutta Changeover

What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit are currently seeking an MC driver with B-double experience to join the team located in Laverton North VIC. You will be responsible for safely delivering various palletised freight on change over runs to Tarcutta. As a part of this role, you will be required to operate our automatic Volvo fleet pulling taught liner and refrigerated trailers, completing up to 5/6 loads per week and roughly 800+kms per shift. We currently have multiple permanent full-time opportunities available working Monday to Friday starting between 8:00pm-9:00pm and finishing between 4:00am-5:00am. Key areas:

• Deliver palletised general freight on change over runs to Tarcutta.
• Daily prestart checks, including refueling & maintaining truck interior.
• Comply with Linfox’s coupling & uncoupling procedures.
• Ensure loads are restrained appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors & customers where needed.
• Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times to ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus.
