Emerald Carrying Company (ECC) is a family-owned business and a leading provider of logistics services. In conjunction with Monaro Fuel Haulage (Monaro), a related family business, the ECC & Monaro Group provides services across Australia, specialising in bulk liquids, general freight & dangerous goods.
About the Roles:
We are looking for enthusiastic road train drivers to assist Monaro Fuel Haulage with new growth in Port Augusta.
The roster on offer is 5/5/5 rotating between day and night shift, starting and finishing in Port Augusta.
These permanent, full-time positions can be filled by locals and/or drivers who are willing to do DIDO with accommodation provided when on shift.
Reporting to Monaro's Depot Manager based in Adelaide, the role will involve:
- Pre-loading & unloading Fuel Tankers
- Maintain Monaro Fuel Haulage policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and safety are adhered to at all times
- Manage fatigue and perform log book duties
- Carry out all duties within set time frames and follow instructions

Skills & Experience
All applicants must have full working rights in Australia and prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical and/or drug & alcohol testing as required.
- Hold a valid MC (essential)
- Road Train experience (desirable)
- Road Ranger, 18 speed gear box (essential)
- Hold a dangerous goods license (Monaro to cover costs with employee to reimburse after onboarding)
- Hold a current SLP passport (desirable but not essential)
- Fuel experience (desirable)
- Proven culture of safety, understanding hazard identification and risk assessment process
- A proactive approach to tasks and the ability to interact with customer
