Mc Tipper Truck Driver

Ditton Bulk Haulage is a Newcastle based family owned & operated bulk haulage company with decades of experience in the road transport industry. 

We are hiring a professional, experienced and enthusiastic HC licenced driver to join our team.

Our fleet consists of late model vehicles servicing all area’s throughout QLD, NSW, VIC  and SA

Ideally applicants would be based around the Newcastle area however applicants based in other areas may also apply. 

The role:

• Driving a K200 Kenworth, towing a set of B Double tippers throughout the 3 eastern states & SA, most of your jobs being long haul work
• Loading & unloading and other transport duties as directed.
• Following all OH&S regulations, furthering safety culture and following all procedures.
• Liaising with all co-workers & customers, with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Manage fatigue and perform logbook duties.
• Hold a high regard for Health & Safety of yourself and others.
• Complete all paperwork to a high standard.
• Take pride in your equipment.

At Ditton Bulk we work on 11 day fortnights,

On week A your roster is Monday to Friday 

On week B your roster is Sunday to Friday.

Majority of our work is transporting fresh produce, grains, fertiliser, quarry products, Recycled materials, ect .

Our requirements 

• Minimum 3 years experience in driving a MC vehicle 
• Current RMS driver record is required to be submitted with your application.
• BFM certification and, satisfactory understanding of BFM regulations or willing to obtain. 
• Comply with mandatory drug and alcohol testing.
• Provide Commercial Vehicle Drivers Medical
• Ability to adhere to company policies and RMS legislation.
• Primarily suited to long haul interstate driving.
• Well presented, courteous and diligent at all times.
• Good can-do attitude and willingness to learn
