Responsibilities:
*Job Title: * Utilities MDMS Oracle Developer
*Job Summary: *We are seeking an experienced Utilities MDMS Oracle Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying Oracle-based applications for our utility clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle development, experience with MDMS (Meter Data Management System) and a passion for working with utilities.
*Responsibilities: *
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle-based applications for utility clients
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs
- Develop and maintain MDMS applications using Oracle technologies such as Oracle Database, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports
- Write high-quality, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing applications
- Collaborate with QA team to ensure thorough testing of applications
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Stay up to date with new technologies and trends in Oracle development
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in Oracle development, with a focus on MDMS
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports
- Experience and functional knowledge of MDMS
- Strong programming skills in PL/SQL, SQL, and Java
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Experience with Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management System (MDMS)
- Knowledge of utility industry standards and regulations
- Experience with cloud-based technologies such as Oracle Cloud
- Certification in Oracle development (e.g. OCP, OCM)
