We are looking for a professional and reliable Skilled Meat Worker with a minimum of 3 years experience to join our team. This position will see you perform duties under the direction of the Operations Manager in the preparation (de-boning) and packaging of meat products in a chilled environment and undertake other duties within the production department as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing carcasses for sale by removing bones, trimming fat and cutting meat to shape and size
De-boning carcasses; beef bodies, whole pork and/or poultry
Preparing meat; cutting, slicing, dicing and mincing
Assisting in the operation of machinery to grind, mix, mince or slice meat
Packing, labelling and scanning
Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications:
Awareness of OH&S and food safety requirements
Awareness of HACCP food safety program
Enjoy practical and manual work
Ability to do quick and accurate work with hands
Good communication skills
Good time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
