Top Tune has a reputation for servicing the standard passenger and high-end road cars common to the Mosman and North Shore area, specialising in a number of luxury makes and models. We are looking for an experienced, hardworking Automotive Technician to join our talented team here at Top Tune. We operate Monday through to Friday from 8am-5pm. This is a full-time role with wage and package to be negotiated upon hire.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- General car servicing and repairs
- Identifying issues in vehicle through inspection
- Test driving vehicles when required
- Diagnosing vehicle faults
- Dealing with suspensions, brakes, air conditioning, coolant and more on passenger cars (including 4WDs)
- Identifying vehicle complications through the use of specific computer programs and scanning tools (Autologic, iScan etc.)
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- 3-5 years experience in the automotive industry
- Mechanical trade licence required
- Air conditioning/refrigerant licence preferred, but not essential
- Vehicle inspection (E-safety) examiner licence preferred, but not essential
- Drivers licence required
- Own tools are preferred, but not essential
- Good communication skills and is able to work independently and as part of a team
