About the role
The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance and repairs on Locomotives and associated equipment within the facility to required standards.
Requirements of the position
- Ability to read, comprehend and apply technical drawings.
- Overhauls
- High level communications and interpersonal skills
- High level problem solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Ability and willingness to further their knowledge and skills with additional training
- Knowledge and understanding of diesel/electric locomotives desirable
- Have permanent work rights with no restrictions
Positions available for Qualified Tradesmen and / or 3rd / 4th year Apprentices
Skills and experience
- Trade qualifications (Mechanical or other related disciplines).
- Previous experience working within a heavy maintenance (preferred)
