We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Product Development team in our Wauchope NSW location.

The Role
As a Mechanical Engineer based at our Wauchope NSW facility you will be part of our highly experienced Product Development Team who are responsible for the continuous improvement of products throughout the business.
Main Duties and responsibilities.
- Generate 3D models and drawings.
- Offer engineered solutions and resolve product/technical issues.
- Project engineering and Compliance approvals.
- Assist with Product Development and Quality Control.
- Liaise with Product development team in troubleshooting,
- Developing workable solutions with Product Development and workshop staff.
- Assist sales team and workshops with technical and drafting support.
- Ensure compliance with engineering principles and safety regulations.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years industry experience.
- Excellent attitude and commitment to safety.
- Be a confident team player, self-motivated and energetic.
- Have experience in a similar Mechanical Design Engineer role.
- Have experience utilising FEA software in designing products.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Have the ability to think critically and problem solve.
- Possess high level of motivation, initiative and time management skills.
- Have experience with Solid Works and or other 3D Cad solutions.
- Ability to certify engineered solutions.
