AddressGough Recruitment is proud to be working with our valued client seeking a Mechanical Engineer focused in vessel design. In this prestigious role, you will be pivotal in orchestrating the design and engineering of vessels from inception to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce precise documentation meeting procedural standards.
- Meet deadlines without compromising deliverables.
- Communicate effectively through drawings, verbal, and written means.
- Innovate and improve task methods.
- Select and requisition machinery and systems.
- Prepare designs, calculations, and schematics.
- Ensure vessel designs comply with technical specifications and regulations.
- Design various systems including exhaust, propulsion, and cooling.
- Adhere to safety, quality, budget, and risk mitigation processes.
- Support production, commissioning, and delivery.
- Maintain efficient filing systems.
- Construction safety induction (white card).
- Advanced AutoCAD skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.
- Understanding of production methods and design application.
- Knowledge of regulatory rules and regulation.
