Fyfe is a multi-disciplinary consultancy providing comprehensive engineering, environmental, planning, and surveying services throughout Australia. Fyfe work with a wide range of clients in the Energy & Resources, Infrastructure and Property sectors to provide high quality, commercially pragmatic solutions with a strong focus on client service and delivery. Additionally, Fyfe is actively involved in helping our clients with their Energy transition goals across a broad range of solutions including renewables, hydrogen and bio-methane.

About the role
Our South Australia Energy and Resources Engineering Division delivers specialist mining, energy, hydrogen and renewable energy projects across the country. These include process plant modifications, upstream flowlines, well leases, network gathering systems, major gas transmission pipelines, above ground processing facilities, as well as hydrogen facilities such as pipelines, refuelling stations, compression, microgrids and various renewable energy projects.  

Our Adelaide office is currently recruiting for a 1 - 3  Year Graduate or Mechanical Engineer in the Oil and Gas Space. 

What to expect:

Apart from working with a great group of people, you will be accountable for:

  • Preparation and review of engineering design documents
  • Engineering calculations and datasheets
  • Equipment sizing and selection
  • Piping stress analysis
  • Engineering of skid based equipment
  • Pipeline engineering
  • Integrity engineering
  • Interaction with inter discipline engineers to execute multidiscipline projects

Your background:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and technical report writing skills
  • A strong commitment to client satisfaction and quality of work
