About the Role:
We are seeking applications for the position of Mechanical Engineering Manager for our global headquarters and manufacturing campus in Murarrie, Brisbane. You’ll be part of a supportive team, backed by your Leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals in the team. This role is a full time position Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Engineering Director your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Industrialisation of new products from R&D into mass production.
- Development and improvement of NOJA Power Production Line Systems.
- Management of Engineering staff to achieve objectives.
- Development and maintenance of BOM in the NOJA Power ERP system.
- Manage RFC for released product.
- Improve manufacturability and reduce cost of released product.
- Contribute to improvements in Design for Manufacture of products in R&D.
What You’ll bring:
- Engineering Qualifications; undergraduate degree in Engineering with minimum 10 years engineering design experience.
- Experience in:
- Mechanical design of products for mass manufacture
- Design of production lines, jigs and processes
- Managing a diverse team of engineers and technicians
- Computer Aided Drafting and 3D modelling
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and application in a production environment
- Teamwork skills
- Communication skills
